Do I have to port my number to try it?
No. For the trial you divert your existing fax number to a Pear line — you set the divert, so it stays under your control and nothing changes on your letterhead. Porting only happens if you decide to stay.
What if we don't keep it?
You turn the divert off and you're back exactly where you started. No hardware to return, no contract to exit, nothing to unwind. Nothing auto-renews and nothing starts billing on its own.
Does it work with Medical Director, Zedmed or Genie?
Yes — fax-to-email, the portal, Aria's reading and the urgent alerts work regardless of which clinical software you run. And any software that can send an email can fax out through X-Fax — Gentu, Medical Director, Cliniko, Zedmed, Halaxy, Clinic to Cloud, Heidi, Splose, Shexie, Dental4Web, Genie and more. Direct filing into the clinical record is currently being built for Best Practice first.
When will Best Practice filing be available?
It needs a Best Practice software release, and we're working closely with Best Practice towards their September update. Start in August and your first month of the Connector is free when it lands.
Where is our data stored?
In Australia. All AI processing stays onshore and your data never leaves the country. No medical content ever leaves the portal by email, and every fax carries a complete audit log.
Is Aria making clinical decisions?
No. Aria is a triage aid, not a replacement for clinical review. Every fax still gets read by your team exactly as it does now — Aria's job is making sure the important ones get read first.
How long does setup take?
We do the setup for you. The trial line and urgent alerts are configured from the details in the form below, and team training is included — so there is nothing for your team to install or configure.
What happens to old faxes?
Faxes are stored for 30 days by default, 90 on request, and longer at extra cost. Purged faxes cannot be recovered, so tell us if you need extended retention.
